District Writing Expectations
Over the past several years, writing has been one of the focal points for school improvement throughout the district. As a result of a comprehensive teacher survey, the ELA Curriculum Council along with district leadership implemented district writing expectations beginning in the 2008-2009 school year. The implementation of these new district writing expectations is an ongoing school improvement process with an ultimate goal of increased student achievement in all grades across all content areas.
