K-12 Math Toolkit

The following resources can be used in conjunction with a data projector and/or interactive white board in the classroom or students could use them individually if they have access to a computer.  Please contact Ted Berryhill, District Instructional Support Teacher, if you have additional tools/resources that should be added to the K-12 Math Toolkit.

Base 10 Addition - Applet from the National Library of Virtual Manipulatives.
Base 10 Subtraction - Applet from the National Library of Virtual Manipulatives.
Integer Chip Model - Applet from CMP2 that shows students how to solve problems involving negative integers.
Integer Product Game - Applet from CMP2 that provides practice for solving multiplication problems involving negative integers.
Jud e-Clock - Online version of the Judy Clock.
Nets/Surface Area of 3D Shapes - Applet from Braining Camp that allows students to visualize how nets are generated from 3D shapes.
Online Calculator - Replaces the need for an overhead calculator in grades K-5.
Online Graphing Calculator - Basic graphing calculator for grades 6-12.

Surface Area and Volume of 3D Shapes - Interactive website that illustrates surface area and volume of 3D shapes.
