Lucy Calkins K-2 Writing Rubric Developmental Scale
The K-2 Writing Rubric was developed by teachers for the purpose of identifying the achievement level of a student's writing and communicating this with parents. The rubric explains the expectations for each level and gives examples. This developmental scale is based upon several research studies and feedback from teachers who use the scale.
